Adele – Rolling in the Deep (SpectraSoul Bootleg) **Free Download** (new link in description below) by SpectraSoul
Download it here: http://hotfile.com/dl/118427125/b3067cc/Adele_-_Rolling_in_the_Deep_%28SpectraSoul_Bootleg%29.mp3.html
Not to take anything away from the original but Spectrasoul’s bootleg of Adele’s beautiful ‘Rolling in the Deep’ is simply amazing! With a warm rolling deep bassline, its just nice to hear Adele’s powerful voice on a different backing track.

Hanna
The film’s opening is set in a serene Finish landscape where Hanna has been brought up but the pace quickly gathers speed as a group of hitmen try to track her down. She’s taken into a maximum security compound where all hell breaks loose! A Chemical Brothers sound track accompanied by fast paced action drives you on to the edge of your seat!
Whether you like the Bourne series or just want to see a movie that’s got some really exhilarating action supported by dynamic cinematography and editing or you think Saoirse Ronan is an up and coming star you should go check this film out!

True Grit cinematography
Congratulations to Roger Deakins, after picking up the BAFTA for best cinematography on Sunday night. His work on True Grit was suberb and I just stumbled across this little video worth checking out with a couple of interviews and clips from the film:

James Owen Fender – 5108
I helped out on this little video just before finishing University last year! (Don’t watch the camerawork too much, it’s not my greatest! I think I was shaking from how beautiful but poignant this song is). James is such a nice guy, I’ll definitely be getting hold of this track.

Coen Bro’s do it again
Back in December I got stuck in New York thanks to the snow which caused operations at London Heathrow to come to a stand still. This meant an extra 5 nights to do lots more things whilst I was there.. And being a huge Coen Brothers fan I had to go see True Grit at the AMC Empire Times Square cinema on the opening night.
It’s a gripping Western, with U.S Marshal Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges) in the saddle being whipped into action by young star Hailee Steinfeld who plays character Mattie Ross, together they go in pursuit of Tom Chaney responsible for the murder of Mattie Ross’s father. Nominated for 10 Oscars and 8 BAFTAs, it goes without saying DoP Roger Deakins’s camera work is stunning and is up for best cinematography in both award ceremonies.
True Grit is out in UK cinemas today, go see it!!

On the road..
I have just finished reading the autobiographical novel On the Road by Jack Kerouac and I felt quite sad to see the back of the two main characters Sal Paradise (based on Jack himself) and Dean Moriarty (based on his close friend). The book is one long adventure which takes the two best friends on an amazing journey right across America where they party with the best and just get by on the minimum. When the gather together enough funds they move onto the next scene. It’s being released as a film this year with British Sam Riley playing Sal Paradise. Can’t wait..

Blind Faith
What a beauty!! Chase and Status’s Blind Faith exploded onto the charts at the beginning of this year. Coming from a Drum & Bass background with heavy releases on labels such as Renegade Hardware and Barcode, Chase and Status show their diversity of producing ability, with a euphoric classic. But this isn’t their first uplifting release, older examples such as ‘Take me away’ gave Chase & Status a respected name within the dnb scene.
The video is great, with a nostalgic insight of the early UK raving scene.
